The left are so stupid

Instead of cohesion and shared alliance, all we see is scattering.

The left are so stupid

OPINION (Partially open)

Today, Labour finally brought it -

Under a tsunami of lies and misinformation from National, ACT, NZ First, Taxpayers Union and their affiliate individuals, Kieran McAnulty joined Breakfast to punch through the lies this morning.

And threw out some social media ads.

But it’s a slog, and the left should know it.

The Green Party have been quiet, having lost senior staff in recent months, and laying low after being very publicly, loudly, and unfairly framed for a lone individual throwing an object through Winston Peters’ window. (They did issue a press release critical of the reach of Labour’s CGT policy)

NZ First, ACT etc took the opportunity to label the Green Party, a pacifist organisation by nature, “violent”.

Swarbrick’s best efforts to re-take the narrative didn’t work, assisted by a hostile Ryan Bridges and the might of the right’s resources/affiliates.

Te Pati Māori are themselves embroiled in internal turmoil, with the Kapa-Kingis at war with leadership and various MPs (Takuta Ferris, Oriini Kaipara) taking their side. One would have thought that the movement was greater than public spats, but apparently, all of us are as flawed as each other.

And that’s not a bad thing.

Today, I also posted about Sunny Kaushal on his $1000 a day taxpayer funded salary, and his committee billing $500,000 for 3 months of non-descript, poor output “work” - which appears mainly to be a copy and paste of notes about citizens’ arrest from Canada.

Let’s be fair - $500,000 is the amount Sir Bill English & his team received for his “no KO involvement, no site visits, short and sharp” work on the Kainga Ora report hatchet job that Bishop then shopped around media outlets as an excuse to substantively kill off state housing in NZ

Crime is increasing - and retail crime has exploded but you won’t hear about it on the evening news or from Kaushal though.

He might be too comfortable now.

But the point really is it occurred to me how stupid the left wing, writ large, are when there is so much at stake, and how limited the left’s resources and reach are compared to the other side.
